Wilden Salter is a boutique consulting firm helping mission-driven groups and individuals reach their goals through a focus on purpose.
We take our work seriously, not ourselves. Our approach is built around lighthearted humanity: the belief that warmth, levity, and embracing imperfections aren't in conflict with doing serious, high-impact work. They're what make it sustainable.
We're passionate about supporting the people who are showing up every day to address the challenges of our time, the groups working to make things better for people and the planet.
Wilden Salter was founded in 2026 by Jonah Keane. Our work is rooted in collaboration. Projects are led by Jonah with collaboration from a network of trusted specialists because impact is a team effort.
Wilden Salter is based in the Connecticut River Valley of Massachusetts.
Jonah Keane
Principal
Jonah brings more than 20 years of mission-driven leadership to his work. Throughout his career, he has focused on guiding and developing teams, and building stronger ways of working together.
He has led regional and statewide initiatives for Mass Audubon and the Student Conservation Association, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, launching programs, and building lasting partnerships. His career has been shaped by a deep commitment to the natural world and connecting people to it, but his experience spans a wider range, for example: leading teacher trainings in the Peace Corps, managing a nationwide project for Southwest Airlines, and co-founding Arcadia Folk Fest, a sustainable music festival.
Jonah has a strong background in science and believes in its role in shaping sound decisions. He is drawn to the human side of leadership, helping individuals grow, navigating change, and creating the conditions for teams to do their best work. He holds his experience with humility; he remains a committed learner, always looking to grow alongside the people he works with.
